Finished measurements: 20cm wide, 16cm high
Design 1: Roses
This 1940s vintage-style cosy is adorned with roses, which look complicated but are actually very simple to knit.
Yarn: 50g of Ada yarn in main colour and 25g in each of three contrasting colours
Needles: 8mm pair of needles
Other tools: Darning needle
Design 2: Tea Needs You!
This is a plain cosy, but needs some sewing skills. It has a sewn badge showing the Tea for Victory slogan.
Yarn: 50g of Ada yarn in main colour and small amount yarn for lettering
Needles: 8mm pair of needles
Felt: Piece of off-white felt 8.5cm square
Other tools: Darning needle, sewing needle, off-white cotton thread
Design 3: Victory Men
This is a colour-work version, which cleverly looks like a cow design from a distance, but is actually made up of Prostate Cancer UK’s man logo. This pattern is worked from a chart.
Yarn: 50g of Ada yarn in each of two colours
Needles: 6.5mm pair of needles
